    Phone Layout section continued Speakerphone Button The Speakerphone button toggles the Speaker on and off. The button is lit green when the speaker is active. Headset Button The headset button toggles the headset on and off. The button is lit green when the headset is active. Mute Button The Mute button toggles the microphone on or off during a call.

    Call Functions section continued Answering a Call Calls may be answered in a variety of ways. You can: • Lift the handset. • Press the Answer softkey. • Press the flashing amber line button. • Press the Speaker button. • Press the Headset button if a headset is connected.

    Call Functions section continued Transferring Calls To transfer a call: • During a call, press the Transfer button. • This will place the original call on hold. • Dial the number. • To perform a blind transfer: when the phone rings, press the Transfer button or the Transfer softkey for a second time and hang up.
