Installation and regulation of power tool
elements
Before carrying out any works on the power tool
remove the battery 12.
Mount / dismount of the cover (see fig. 1)
• Mount the cover 3 as shown in fig. 1.1.
• Disassembly operations do in reverse sequence
(see fig. 1.2).
Charging procedure of the power tool
battery
The power tool can be supplied without
battery 12 and charger 13. Before the
first use, the battery 12 must be fully
charged.
Charging process (see fig. 2)
• Press the battery lock 11 and remove the battery 12
(see fig. 2.1).
• Connect the charger 13 to the power supply�
• Insert battery 12 into charger 13 (see fig. 2.2).
• Disconnect the charger 13 from power supply after
charging�
• Remove the battery 12 from the charger 13 and
mount battery 12 in the power tool (see fig. 2.3).
Charger indicators (see fig. 3)
Charger indicators 15 inform of the battery 12 charging
process� Signals of the indicators 15 are shown on the
label 14 (see fig. 3).
• Fig� 3�1 - (the green indicator is on, the battery 12 is not
inserted in the charger 13) - the charger 13 is connected
to the power network (ready for charging).
• Fig. 3.2 - (the green indicator is blinking, the bat-
tery 12 is inserted in the charger 13) - the battery 12 is
being charged�
• Fig� 3�3 - (the green indicator is on, the battery 12
is inserted in the charger 13) - the battery 12 is fully
charged�
• Fig� 3�4 - (the red indicator is on, the battery 12 is in-
serted in the charger 13) - the charging process of the
battery 12 is terminated due to inappropriate tempera-
ture� When the temperature conditions are normal, the
process of charging will resume�
• Fig. 3.5 - (the red indicator is blinking, the battery 12
is inserted in the charger 13) - the charging process of
the battery 12 is terminated because of its failure� Re-
place the faulty battery 12, its further use is prohibited�
In the process of charging the battery 12
and the charger 13 become hot, it is a
normal process.
Initial operating of the power tool
Prior to commencing the work, be sure to check the
following:
• correctness of mounting and reliability of fixing of
all elements of the power tool;
• absence of damages to the elements of the power
tool�
Switching the power tool on / off
The power tool is equipped with a safety
start system - both hands must be used
at the same time to turn on the power
tool.
Switching on:
Press and hold safety button 1, after that press and
hold on / off switch 6 - the blades 4 of the power tool
will start to move (see fig. 5.1).
During operation, hold the power tool by handles 2
and 5 and buttons 1 and 6 pressed�
Switching off:
Release the safety button 1 or the on / off switch 6 - the
power tool will switch off (see fig. 5.2).
Design features of the power tool
Some of the design features described
below are specific to battery 12.
Temperature protection (see fig. 4.1)
The temperature protection system enables to auto-
matically deactivate the power tool in case of excess
load or when the temperature of the battery 12 is ex-
ceeding 80°C� The system guarantees protection of
the power tool from damage in case of noncompliance
with the operation conditions�
When this protection system is activated indicators 16
will blink as shown onto fig. 4.1 during 3 seconds.
Overheating protection (see fig. 4.1)
Overheating protection system of the engine automati-
cally switches off the power tool in case of overheat-
ing. In this situation, let the tool cool before turning the
power tool on again�
When this protection system is activated indicators 16
will blink as shown onto fig. 4.1 during 3 seconds.
