Top Tension Calibra琀椀on:
When to calibrate tension:
This is a calibra琀椀on procedure that should only be
used if the Easy-Set Tensioner has been disassembled,
replaced, or if rota琀椀ng the tension knob does not
result in the tension numbers increasing or decreasing
as they should on the display ⸀
How to Calibrate Tensions:
Follow the on-screen instruc琀椀ons: Carefully remove
the tension knob ⸀ Gently press spring against tension
discs but do not compress the spring. While holding
spring in place, press the Reset bu琀琀on. Replace the
tension knob ⸀
Upda琀椀ng Machine Code
The Quilt Maker 18 has a built in full USB connec琀椀on
on the right side of the front and rear displays; the
side with the power switch on the front handle bar.
This USB connec琀椀on can be used with an USB s琀椀ck
to update the machine code. Important: only one
handle bar should be connected to the machine when
upda琀椀ng the machine code. The other handle bar
must be disconnected while upda琀椀ng the machine
code. This will prevent any communica琀椀on from the
second handle bar during the update process that
might corrupt the machine code ⸀
Di昀昀erences Between the Front
and Rear Handle Bar Display
Assemblies
Even though the front and rear display assemblies
seem very similar there are di昀昀erences:
• The front handle bar has a light driver on the
board for the front lights, the rear handle bar does
not ⸀
• The front handle bar has a remote power switch
on the board required to power on the machine,
the rear handle bar does not ⸀ (The front handle
bar switch is required to power on the machine).
• The code on the front and rear handle bars is
di昀昀erent. The front has "F "code and the rear has
"R" code.
Summary: the front and rear handle bar displays are
not interchangeable

Fuse Informa琀椀on:
The machine fuse can be found on the back of the
machine between the power cord input and the
power switch.
Symptoms of a Blown Fuse
With the power cord connected and the power
switch turned on, there will be nothing on the
handlebar displays and the motor will not a琀琀empt
to start when the "Start" bu琀琀on is pressed. This is a
good indica琀椀on that the fuse has blown. The fuse is
a 2.5A slow blow fuse
