factory menu;
b) Press keys "CH+" and "CH-" can move cursor to each page of initial factory menu, then
press key "OK" to enter into adjustment menu of each page;
c) Press keys "CH+" and "CH-" can move cursor upwards and downwards within one
adjustment page;
d) Move cursor to one adjustment item, then press keys "VOL-" and "VOL+" can adjust it;
e) Press key "MENU" can exit adjustment menu of one page to its superior factory menu;
f) Press key "EXIT" can exit factory menu at any time;
g) After exit the factory menu, press key "SLEEP" can enter into factory menu directly if TV
is still power on.
h) When factory menu item "AGING MODE" is set to "On", the TV is at the factory aging
mode status. Press any key on the unit to exit.
i) Factory menu item "POWER ON MODE" is used to set power-on mode, "On" means the
set will be working automatically after power-on; "Off" means the set will be in Standby
state after power-on; "Memory" means the set will be in the last power- off state after
power-on.
2.2 White balance adjustment processes
2.2.1 Preparation
The set should be working above 30 minutes to be in a steady state before white balance
adjustment. Use Color Analyzer CA210 and switch to its BBY channel. Only color
temperature "Normal" needs to be adjusted for the model, to guarantee color temperature
"Cool" and " Warm" can meet the requirements of BESTBUY test, make sure chromatic
coordinates of bright scales are (ΔX≤±5, ΔY≤±5) and chromatic coordinates of dark scales
are(ΔX≤±5, ΔY≤±5); the color temperature of each model are shown as table 4:

The following white balance adjustment takes LC-42MS70 as an example; for other models use
the data shown in table 4 as a reference for alignment.
2.2.2 Four channels white balance adjustment
2.2.2.1 ATV channel adjustment (AV, S-VIDEO has the same white balance data with ATV)
In TV mode, choose TV source as Antenna and switch to channel 21, the picture is 11 gray scale,
enter factory menu Color Temp, and set Color Mode to NORMAL, fix GAIN GREEN, adjust
GAIN RED, GAIN BLUE to make the chromatic coordinate of 9
OFFSET GREEN, adjust OFFSET RED, OFFSET BLUE to make the chromatic coordinate of 3
step to be(285, 293). Repeat adjust GAIN RED, GAIN BLUE, OFFSET RED and OFFSET BLUE
