Use as a Keyboard Instrument
When the MODE selector is set to STEREO and the BALANCE
control is set to the center position, the position of the melody
sound
(the position
of the sound that is produced
by the
speaker) is distributed as shown in the illustration below. (For
more details, see p. 34)

. If single notes are played when
the
channel is set to POLY, the position
of the sound changes constantly in
the order @ left, @ right, @ toward
the left, @® left, @ right, @ toward
the left, @ .... and so on.
. If chords are played with the channel
set to POLY, the component
notes
of the chords are all heard from a
different position, depending on the
number of notes to the chord. The
positions are ® and @ with two note
chords, @, @
and ®
with
three
chords, and @, @, ® and @ with
four note chords.
* Set the MODE selector to MONO if you do not want to change
the position of the sound.
. When
the keyboard
is played
with
the channel set to MONO, the sound
position is toward the right.
