Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Radio Frequency
Interference Statement
When connected to an FCC Cltm A host as a peripheral, using coaxial
cable, the foil owing warning applies:
WARNING:
This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate
radio frequency energy and if not installed and used in accordance
. with the instructions manual, may cause interference to radio
communications.
It
has been tested and found to comply with the
limits for a Class A computing device pursuant to Subpart J of
Part 15 of FCC Rules, which are designed to provide reasonable
protection against such interference when operated in a
commercial environment. Operation of this equipment in a
residential area is likely to cause interference, in which case, the
user, at his own expense will be required to take whatever
measures may be required to correct the interference.
When the coaxial attachment to the host is not connected, this
equipment complies with the FCC Cltm B limits and the foil owing
warning applies:
WARNING:
This equipment has been certified to comply with the
limits for a Class
B
computing device, pursuant to Subpart J of
Part 15 of FCC Rules. Only peripherals (computer input/ output
devices, terminals, printers, etc.) certified to comply with the
Class B limits may be attached to this computer. Operation with
non-certified peripherals is likely to result in interference to radio
and TV reception.
INSTRUCTIONS TO USER:
This equipment generates and uses
radio frequency energy, and if not installed and used properly,
that is, in strict accordance with the operating instructions,
reference manuals, and the service manual, may cause
interference to radio and television reception.
It
has been tested
and found to comply with the limits for a Class B computing
device pursuant to Subpart
J
of Part 15 of FCC Rules, which are
designed to provide reasonable protection against such
interference when operated in a residential installation.
