The tape stops during record To protect the tape and video heads, the camcorder will enter -
pause or playback pause, the stop mode ([]) if left in playback pause (1_ ! ! ) or record
pause (O | I ) mode for 4 minutes 30 seconds. To resume the
operation press _ (when recording) or push the joystick
(A) towards _/l| (during playback).

Problem
Image will not appear on the

Set the time zone, date and time.
Replace the backup lithium battery and set the time zone, date
and time.
Set the camcorder to _.
Load a cassette.

Rewind the tape or replace the cassette.

Autofocus does not work on that subject. Focus manually.
If you are using the viewfinder, adjust it with the dioptric
adjustment lever.
Lens is dirty. Clean the lens with a sof_ lens-cleaning cloth.
Never use tissue paper to clean the lens.
When recording near loud sounds (such as fireworks or
concerts), sound may become distorted.
Adjust the viewfinder with the dioptdc adjustment lever.
