Programs .
Service Update Programs are driven by Service Support for implementing
special
product modifications which require ;
1.
Safety Corrections
2 .
Corrections to meet advertized specifications .
In the U.S. ,
these programs are identified as Activity Code 18 .
All
other
modification categories are billable or covered by warranty , maintenance
agreement ,
and rental .
The key to determining if a program is free to the
customers program is to look for the words
" Service Update Program " .
Also
look for kit part numbers 045 or 046.
These are the only authorized kits
for Service Update Programs .
All
Service Update Programs are authorized by
Service Support management in conjunction with the appropriate business
unit .
