Asilent interval of 4 seconds or mare can be provided between
tracks. This function is useful for playing back on decks which
can skip to the beginning of tracks, and for cutting unwanted
sound from commercials.
To make a 4-second silent interval
AUTOREC MUTE
Press AUTO
REC MUTE
momen-
tarlly while a recording
is being
made.
A4-second silent Interval will be recorded, and
the unit will automatically be set to the recor-
ding standby mode.
To make a silent interval more than
4 seconds
AUTOREC MUTE Press and hold AUTO
REC MUTE
for
the
necessary
number
of
seconds while a recording Is being
made.
The unit will change to the recording stand-by
mode when the button is released.
To resume recording

Tape side indicator
When
new recordings are made
on a pre-recorded tape, all
sounds recorded on that portion of the tape are automatically
erased. To erase a tape without making a new recording, follow
the steps below.
