Forward-Facing Installation

Child Fit

Britax strongly recommends children should be
secured with a harness system to the highest weight or
height specified.
IMPORTANT:
the child seat forward-facing.
Use forward facing:
• with children who weigh 10 –
29.5 kg (22 – 65 lbs); and
• who are 124.5 cm (49 in) or
less in height; and
• are able to walk unassisted;
and
• with harness straps in the
closest position above the
child's shoulders, parallel to
level ground; and
• when the top of the ears are
below the top of the head
restraint.
IMPORTANT:
children under 11.3 kg (25 lbs) forward-facing.
IMPORTANT:

Lap-Shoulder Belt Installation

(Preferred Method)

NOTE: The ClickTight replaces the need for a
locked/switched vehicle belt retractor. Locking/
switching the lap-shoulder belt retractor can
be done after you follow the install instructions
included herein if desired. If the lap-shoulder belt
retractor has been locked, please refer to the
britax.ca/faqs to uninstall the child restraint
Remove the tether.

a. Extend the tether
by lifting on the
tether adjuster.
b. Unhook the tether

of the child restraint
and place it over
the seat back.
