Identify Door Profile
To identify the door profile number, measure the full drum
diameter based on the images below.
NOTE: This step is important to ensure the proper
operation of the unit.
Standard Lift Sectional Door
Door Profile 1 = Heavy Weight Door* with a 4 in. (10.16 cm) drum.
Door Profile 2 = Standard Weight Door with a 4 in. (10.16 cm) drum.
Door Profile 3 = Heavy Weight Door with a 6 in. (15.24 cm) drum.
Door Profile 4 = Standard Weight Door with a 6 in. (15.24 cm) drum.

NOTE:
Drum sizes may vary by manufacturer.
For Standard Lift Sectional Doors:
Drums less than or equal to 5 in. (12.7 cm), use 4 in. (10.16 cm) drum profile.
Drums more than 5 in. (12.7 cm), use 6 in. (15.24 cm) drum profile.
Standard Weight Doors should be within 400 lbs (181.44 kg) to 850 lbs (385.55 kg).
Heavy Weight Doors should be within 850 lbs (385.55 kg) to 1,100 lbs (498.95 kg).
Factors that increase door weight are those with solid wood interiors, wood veneer
exteriors, glass windows, insulation, reinforcement materials, and/or decorations.
High Lift Door
Door Profile 5 = Tapered drum with rails that raise to a higher elevation
Vertical Lift Sectional Door
Door Profile 5 = Tapered Drum with rails raising vertically above the opening.
