Graphic equalizer operation
■Creating an equalizer pattern
You can create a desired equalizer pattern by operating
the equalizer control keys. Observe the graphic equalizer
display and listen to thesound compensated with equalizer
effect.
Display the graphic equalizer curve.
Press the [DISPLAY! key so that the equalizer display appears in
the display window.
2 Press the EQUALIZER key.
The previous equalizer setting appears in the display window.
3 Select the frequency band to be adjusted.

Higher frequency
bands

Adjust the level of the selected frequency
band.
EQ. CONTROL

Decrease the
level.
Increase the
level.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 for other frequency
bands, if necessary.

■ Storing a user-created pattern
Up to 5 equalizer patterns created by you can be stored in
memory.

Create a desired equalizer pattern.
EQ. CONTROL
Refer to "Creating an equalizer pattern"
2 Press the ENTER key.
ENTER

The MEMORY indicator blinks.
Blinks.

Select the memory number in which the
equalizer pattern is to be stored.
EQ. CONTROL
Each time the A or V key is pressed,
the memory number changes in the
following order:
4 Press the ENTER key again.
ENTER
The storing operation is completed.
Be sure to press the ENTER key
within 5 seconds after the
memory number is selected.
To return to the preset equalizer patterns (MANUAL
Ml -M5)
® Press the ENTER key once.
ENTER
• The memory indicator in the display window blinks.
© Press and hold the ENTER key for 5 seconds or more.
