Assembly Instructions
M105HV
Your Maco 105HV maxibeam is an innovation in base station beam design, which enables the
vertical and horizontal to be assembled for either 10 or 11 meters.
For example, using the charts supplied, you can assemble the horizontal for 11 meters and the
vertical for 10 meters, or reverse this, or assemble both the same. The horizontal and vertical
do not affect each other, so feel free to set your antenna up whichever way you wish.
THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HV BEAMS AND THE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED IS THAT THE
HV BEAM HAS BOTH SETS OF ELEMENTS ON THE SAME BOOM.
P LEASE ADD THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS TO THOSE SUPPLIED:
U
Mount the first reflector with the u-bolt facing the rear. Mount its mate with the u-
bolt facing the front of the beam. This is so the vertical and horizontal elements will
be close together.
Do the same with all the elements and measure the spacing only once per set of
elements.
