3.4.2.3 – AUDIO Parameters
Volume – Adjusts the volume.
Bass – Adjusts the bass.
Treble – Adjust the treble.
Balance – Adjusts the balance level between the
channels.
MTS (Multi-sound selection) - Select from Mono,
Stereo or SAP (separate audio program).
Note: This option will depend on the type of
broadcast being received.
Mute – Turns the sound either on or off.
Speaker – Selects from internal versus external.
See section 2.6 - External Amplified Speakers,
page 22, and 2.7 - Connecting an External
Receiver or Amplifier, page 23, for additional
details.
Reset – Resets the TV back to the original factory audio settings.
3.4.2.4 – Picture-In-Picture Parameters
Display Mode – Select Full, PIP or POP.
Off - Normal
PIP – Displays selected Sub Screen within the
main screen.
POP – Displays selected Sub Screen next to the
main screen at the same size.
Main Source – Selects Main Screen sources from
the following: TV, AV1, AV2, S-Video, SV2,
YPbPr1, YPbPr2, VGA and DVI.
PiP Source –Selects Sub Screen sources from the
following: TV, AV1, AV2, S-Video, SV2, YPbPr1,
YPbPr2, VGA and DVI.
Swap – Changes the PIP screen to the main screen
and consequently changes the main screen to the PIP screen.
PIP Position – Sub Screen display adjustment, horizontal and/or vertical. Note: This feature will
not adjust POP. Note: to exit this option, please press the Menu button.
PIP Size – Adjusts the Sub Screen size. Select from the following: small, medium or large.
Audio From – Selects Main or Sub Screen audio sources.
Please see Figure 3.4.2.4.a for additional details on PIP and POP input selections.
Note: If the display mode is POP and you press the PIP button on the remote, the display
will revert back to PiP.
