Questions and answers
my dxh90cfak wont ignite, it has plenty of kerosene and batteries are charged
The DeWalt DXH90CFAK may not ignite despite having enough kerosene and charged batteries due to one of the following issues:
1. Backup Battery Failure (Error Code E9) – The Li-ion backup battery may be disconnected or defective. Check the battery connection and replace it only with the specified OEM battery (LG Chem INR 18650 M29 2850mAh).
2. Fuel Pump Failure (Error Code EP) – A defective fuel pump can prevent ignition. The fuel pump may need to be replaced by a service center.
3. System Communication Failure (Error Code EC) – There may be a wire harness issue or a failure in the BMS board. A service center should check the wire harness connection from the LCD display board to the BMS board and replace the BMS board if necessary.
4. Low Battery Shutdown (Error Code Lb) – If the heater has shut down due to low battery, a fully charged battery must be inserted.
If none of these issues apply, consider restarting the unit or consulting a service center for further troubleshooting.

My heater was just working but it ran out of fuel. I just refilled it but it's not starting. I keep getting the code E4. I have tried the cold start priming method and it is not working
The E4 error code on the DeWalt DXH90CFAK heater indicates an ignition failure. This means that no fuel is burning after an ignition attempt. The possible causes and solutions are:
1. No fuel in the tank – Fill the fuel tank.
2. Weak or no spark – Contact customer service.
3. Fuel issue – Replace the fuel or contact customer service.
