Loading a SD memory card (optional)
The camera comes with 16MB of internal memory, allowing you to store images and video clips in the
camera. However, you can expand the memory capacity by using an optional SD memory card so that
you can store more images and video clips.
1. Make sure the camera is off.
2. Open the SD card cover.
3. Insert the SD memory card.
The front side of the SD memory card (pointed arrow) and
the front side of the camera should face in the same
direction.
If the card cannot be inserted, check whether the direc-
tion is correct.
4. Close the SD card cover.
To remove the card, make sure the camera is off. Open
the SD card cover. Slightly press the SD memory card once
and remove it.
NOTE
• To prevent valuable data from being erased accidentally, you can
switch the write protect tab at the side of the SD memory card to
"LOCK." To save, edit, or erase data in the SD memory card, can-
cel the write protection state.
