Fig.
2.6.
Set-up for synchronous filtering adjustment.
Proceed as follows:
1. Start the Level Recorder and the paper will commence to run. This
continues until the built-in automatic single chart stop switch declutches
the drive mechanism (one chart length or less).
2. Remove the 2305's side cover by unscrewing the two "COVER LOCKING
SCREWS" seen in Fig. 2.3 of the Level Recorder manual. Remove paper
roll.
3. Lift the PAPER SPEED knob, and turning it to an intermediate
position,
leave it clear of the panel, supported by the locating pin. See Fig. 2. 7.
4.
Check that the niched mark on the screw "S" (Fig. 2.3 in the Recorder
manual) is in its upper position. With the fingers, turn "Drive Shaft I"
in a counter clockwise direction until the Spectrometer switching device
is heard to click. With a pencil, make a mark on the chain wheel and
note this position. (See Fig. 2.8).
5. Place PAPER SPEED on "30/3". Switch PAPER DRIVE to "On-Start-

noted in 4). The tolerance
±

tolerance of the Gliding Frequency Record (
±

does not stop within
tolerance,
adjustment should be carried out as
described below.
7. Switch MOTOR to "Off".
8. Being aware not to touch the finger wheel, press the Gear Lever X half
