3. Connect the discharge hose.
Use a commercially available hose, hose connector, and hose band. A
short, large-diameter hose is most efficient. Long or small-diameter
hose increases fluid friction and reduces pump output.
NOTE:
Tighten the hose band securely to prevent the hose from
disconnecting under high pressure.

4. Connect the separate type hose connector. (equipped type)
The separate type hose connector is composed of a male coupler and
a female coupler. By using the levers, they can be separated or
coupled each other. Do not handle the levers while the pump is
activated. Separating or coupling both of the couplers must be
performed only when the pump is stopped.
Way of coupling:
Be sure to check the packings are seated in their positions.
Seat the female coupler on the male coupler with its levers opened
and push the female coupler until it stops.
