• Cleaning your washer
1. Exterior
Proper care of yourwasher can extend its life.
The outside of the machine can be cleanedwith warm water and a neutral, non-abrasive
householddetergent.
Immediatelywipe off any spills.Wipe with dampcloth.
Try not to hit the surfacewith sharp objects.
÷ IMPORTANT:Do not use methylatedspirit, solvents or similar products.
2. Interior
Dry around the washer door opening,flexible gasket and door glass. These areas should
always be clean to ensure a water-tight seal.
Run washer through a complete cycleusing hotwater.
Repeat process if necessary.
Removehard water deposits using only cleaners labeled as safe for washing
machines.
• Winterizing instructions
If the washer is stored in an area where freezing can occur or moved in freezing temperatures,
follow these winterizinginstructionsto prevent damageto the washer:
1. Turn off water supply tap.
2. Disconnecthoses from water supply and drain water from hoses.
3. Plug electricalcord intoa properlygroundedelectricaloutlet.
4. Add 1 gallon (3.8L)nontoxic recreationalvehicle (RV)antifreezeto emptywash drum.
Close door.
5. Set spin cycle and let washer spin for 1minute to drain out all water.
Not all of the RV antifreezewill be expelled.
6. Unplugelectricalpower cord, dry drum interior,and close door.
7. Removedispenserdrawer. Drain any water in compartmentsand dry compartments.
Replacedrawer.
8. Storewasher in an updgnt position.
9. To remove antifreezefrom washer after storage, run emptywasher
through a completecycle usingdetergent. Do not add laundry.
