IWTROOGCSIOH
The GI-3821 Gas lnsens are ceitified as "Di-
rectYent Wall Heaters." They have been de-
signed to be installed into selected Superior
solid fuel burning factory-built fireplace sys-
tems that have been moditied, other solid fuel
burningfactow-builtfirepiacesandcertainsolid
fuel burning masonry fireplace sys:ems (Fig-
ures 7 . 2 a n d 3 ) . These gas inserts are heat-
circulating systems that utilize a millivolt gas
control and a pier0 ignition system. The gas
controlvaivedoes not requireanexternal power
source to operate but a IIOV, 60Hz power
source is required lor the optional blower fan
system to function.
Carefully read and understand these instruc-
tions completely prior to instailing the gas
insert into either a Superior factory-built fire-
place or any defined masonry fireplace.
