LG AI engine connection information setting
option
This function determines whether or not to use the LG AI engine.
(It applies only when the LG AI engine is installed.)
For models equipped with the LG AI engine by default, the models are
shipped in the Mode ON status.
Mode setting method
Turn the DIP switch No. 5 of the outdoor unit ON.
Display "Svc" in Segment 7 using the '▶' and '◀'
buttons, and then press the '●' button.
Display "SE31" in Segment 7 using the '▶' and '◀'
buttons, and then press the '●' button.
Select either "oFF" or "on" in Segment 7 using the
'▶' and '◀' buttons, and then press the '●' button.
Mode setting
- on: Use when installing the LG AI engine (Default)
- oFF: Do not use when installing the LG AI engine
* If the LG AI engine is not installed, the settings won't work.

Function
LG AI engine function
The LG AI engine provides the best comfort and energy savings by
acquiring, analyzing and learning system data, also black box data
saving with large space.
Black box
• Large capacity black box function
10 Gbyte capacity can be saved.
Data can be saved for 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months using the
DIP Switch.
• Event black box function
1 Gbyte capacity can be saved.
Data are saved from 1 hour before and up to 30 minutes after the
occurrence of an error. Up to 100 error occurrence data can be
saved.
※ Black box data can be moved using USB.
AI smart care Comfort
The AI operation to control the airflow from the indoor unit for 10
minutes during cooling/heating operation by learning the surrounding
situation is carried out.
- For the model that automatically controls the air flow from the indoor
unit, only the ceiling cassette air conditioner is supported.
- The comfort level may vary depending on the model, capacity, and
the environment.
• Energy Savings
The AI operation to maintain comfort levels while saving energy by
collecting and learning the ambient temperature, humidity, and load
is carried out.
- Energy savings may vary depending on the model, capacity and the
environment.
• Display of energy savings
The energy savings (power, kWh) by the AI smart care operation are
displayed on the wired remote control. (RS3)
- The displayed value is the power consumption amount for the
entire system.
- The predicted saving is a value calculated by analyzing the pattern
of energy usage according to the use of the AI smart care
operation.
- There may be a difference when compared to the actual usage, so
use it only as a reference.
- If you need accurate usage, install PDI (LG product) Power
Distribute Indication additionally.
When installing PDI, you should set the function by referring to the
outdoor unit installation manual. (Smart plug function, settings:
PDI1)
• For detailed settings, refer to the user/installation manual for the
wired remote controller (RS3).
