Using the DVD Drive
The DVD Drive is assigned to drive "L".

If you decide to change the drive name (for example, when setting another drive), it is also
necessary to simultaneously change the [Drive Path] in [Setup] for the DVD Player.
Turn your computer on
Slide and hold the disc eject button
The keyboard opens and the tray is partially extended, slowly pull it out by hand until
fully extended.
# Inserting a disc
Hold the disc so that your hand does not touch the data surface. Place the disc with the
label facing upward in the drive and push down until the center holder clicks.
# Removing a disc
Place a finger on the center holder and lift up on the edge of the disc.

Close the tray
After the tray is pushed all the way in, the keyboard closes automatically.

Do iiot insert your fingers into the keyboard opening. In particular, be ve^ careful
not to get fingers, etc., caught in the keyboard during loading.

Do not move the computer with a disc inserted in it.
After closing the tray, do not attempt to access a disc until the DVD drive indicator (^)
di^^pears.
The DVD drive will not open if the battery level is low (less than 9%).
Under some conditions, dust may build up on the optical lens or disc, possibly resulting
iniraalfunctioh;

Do not use the computer in a location where there is a lot of oily smoke or tobacco
smoke. Doing so could shorten the service life of the lens.
Do not leave the tray open or touch the lens.
When the tray is open, applying too much force on the tray could damage it. '
Do not open the DVD drive while the DVD drive indicator {^) is on.
Do not insert paper clips or other small objects into the DVD drive.
Touching the data surface can make it dirty or even damage the disc. (For details on
maintenance Q^page 32). Particularly, a DVD-Video is influenced by dirt or damage,
so it may not play or work properly. Be careful not to scratch a disc when handling.
Do not use a disc that has become deformed (warped), is not completely round, etc.
