Adjusting Oolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic

If the level of the speakers appears to be different while listening to
a source, sit where you would normally and perform the following to
adjuSt the level of all the speakers to the same apparent level.
The speaker levels can be adjusted within the following
ranges:
L,R:
-16dBto0dB
C, RS, LS, S:
-10 dB to +6dB
SW (Subwoofer): -10 dB to +10 dB
Preparations:

Press [TEST] to output a test signal.
The test signal is output in the following order.
DOLBY DIGITAL
L: Front speaker (left)
C: Center speaker
R: Front speaker (dght)
RS: Surround speaker (right)
LS: Surround speaker (left)
No signal is output for the subwoofer.
Dolby Pro Logic
L: Frontspeaker(left)
C: Center speaker
R: Frontspeaker(dght)
S: Surroundspeaker
No signalis outputfor the subwoofar.

Press [VOLUME
(+ or -)] to set the
volume
level normally
used for
enjoying
the source.

Press [UPION _]
or [DOWN/OFF '_]
to adjust the level of each speaker
to
the same apparent
level,
In Dolby Pro Logic, only the center (C) and surround (S)
channels can be adjuSted.
To stop the test signal
PreSS [TEST],
TO adjust
speaker
level during
play
1. Press [CH SELECT] to select the speaker channel,
L _- C -" R _ RS _- LS _- SW (Subwoofer)
The sobwoofer (SW) cannot be selected if it is off.
