in the camcorder's
built-in
memory
can
be transferred
to a Windows
_ PC and saved using the
provided
image transfer
software,
Picture
Navigator.
The
image
data transferred
to a Windows
° P( can also be
f/uther
processed
using Mr. Photo Gold,
and the still image
processed
on the PC car/be
inserted
onto
a tape
(_T_ pg. 55).
To assure safety, mal<e sure all units are turned
off beR)re
mal<ing any connection.
Connect
tile camcorder's
DIGITAL
connector
to the
(C)M
Port (RS-2 }2C} on a Windows
° P(,
using tile
provided
PC connection
cable.
Set the System Select Switch
to "D.S.C.",
then set the
Power
Switch
to "PLAY".
A still image
stored
in
memory
appears.
• When
transferring
still images to a computer,
be
sure that a still image is displayed
on the screen.
Launch
the provided
software
on your
Windows
c_ PC.
Transfer the still images stored
in tile camcorder's
memory
to the Windows
® PC. Refer to the software's
instruction
manual
on the provided
CD-ROM
k>r
details.
• During
transfer
of the still
image, the camcorder's
screen becomes
blue and "PC_MODE"
is dis-
played.
After transferring
is finished,
tile screen
displays
tile same still image
as in step 2.
Close the software,
then switch
off the camcorder.
NOTES:
• Before
transtbrring
stiff images
from y_>ur personal
computer
to the camcorder'_
built-in
memory,
perf_>rm the
camcorder's
Picture
Mode Setting
(_ / pg. 22k The still images will
be transferred
fr_;m the personal
computer
in the selected
Picture
Mode.
• When
trarlsferring,
still images
from your personal
computer
to the { amcorder,
make
sure tile rlumber
of
images
to be trarlsferred
is smaller
tharl the camcorder's
remairling
number
of shot_ available.
• Use tile AC Power Adapter/(
harger
as tile power
supply
instead ot the battery pack.
• The still
images stored
in the camcorder'_
memory
are riot automatically
removed
after being
trarlsferred
to
the PC. If y_;u wish to remove
those still images
t}'om the camc_;rder's
n_en_or) _,delete
them (_T _ p_. 5d, 51).
