Terminating cleaning mode prematurely
1.
Hold hand at a distance of 5cm in front of the sensor
system, see Fig. [3].
Indicator lamp signals:
█████████████████████____
2.
Remove hand from the sensor system while
is displayed.
Cleaning mode is terminated.
Signalling the remaining battery capacity and performing
continuous operation for thermal disinfection
1.
Turn the thermostat to the hot water end stop.
2.
Hold hand at a distance of 5cm in front of the sensor
system, see Fig. [3].
Indicator lamp signals:
██████████████████████ ██ ██ ██ ██ ██ ██ ██ ▌▌▌▌▌
3.
Remove hand from the sensor system while
is displayed.
The remaining battery capacity is signalled by the number
of flashing signals:
Remaining battery capacity > 60%
██ ██ ██ ██
Remaining battery capacity > 40%
██ ██ ██
Remaining battery capacity > 20%
██ ██
Remaining battery capacity < 20%
██
Take hands out of the detection zone of the
sensor system.
Thermal disinfection starts once the remaining capacity has
been signalled.
If an object is detected during thermal disinfection, the water
stops flowing immediately and the fitting is closed (indicator
lamp starts to flash).
Closure of the fitting ends automatically after 3 minutes or
can be prematurely terminated (see Terminating
cleaning mode).
Adjusting
For temperature adjustment, see fold-out page I, Figs. [4]
and [5].
• Before the mixer is put into service, if the mixed water
temperature measured at the point of discharge varies from
the specified temperature set on the thermostat.
• After any maintenance operation on the thermostatic
cartridge.
1. Start water flow and measure the temperature of the water
using a thermometer, see Fig. [4].
2. Detach temperature control handle, see Fig. [5].
3. Turn regulating nut (B) until the water temperature has
reached 38 °C.
4. Install temperature control handle so that button points
towards the front, see Fig. [4].
Making settings
Setting mode
Setting mode has the following functions:
- Querying and changing the programme
- Checking the detection zone
The indicator lamp in the sensor system illuminates in setting
mode when the detection zone of the fitting is reached by an
approaching user.
Activating setting mode
Disconnect plug-in connection between the electronics and
battery box and reconnect after 10 seconds, see fold-out
page III, Fig. [6].
• Setting mode is automatically terminated after 3 minutes.

Setting the programme
1.
Activate setting mode.
2.
Hold hand at a distance of 5cm in front of the sensor
Indicator lamp signals:

3.
Remove hand from the sensor system while
Programme selection mode is active for 60 s.
4.
Hold hand at a distance of 5cm in front of the sensor
The programmes are displayed by groups of flashing
signals via the indicator lamp. Display starts with
the programme that is currently set.

5.
Remove hand from the sensor system after the desired
sequence of flashing signals.
The programme is adopted as the new setting. The
corresponding flashing signals are displayed again.
The setting can be readjusted within the next 6 s if necessary
Setting mode is automatically terminated after 3 minutes.

Maintenance

• Shut off hot and cold water supply.
• Inspect and clean all components and replace if necessary
and lubricate with special grease.
I. Non-return valve (C), see fold-out page III, Fig. [7].
Remove union nipple (D) by turning clockwise (left-hand
thread).
Assemble in reverse order.
II. Thermostatic compact cartridge (E), see fold-out
page III, Fig. [8].
If necessary, lever out thermostatic compact cartridge via
recess (E1).
Install in reverse order.
Observe the correct installation position of the
thermostatic compact cartridge and the temperature
control handle, see details.
Readjustment is necessary after every maintenance
operation on the thermostatic compact cartridge
(see Adjusting).
III. Solenoid valve housing (F) / Battery (G) / Filter, see fold-
out page III and IV.
Batteries which are almost discharged are displayed by
a flashing indicator lamp in the sensor system.
1. Remove solenoid valve housing and battery box with an M4-
screw (not included), see Figs. [6], [9] and [10].
2. Replace solenoid valve housing (F) or battery (G), see
Fig. [11], or clean filter, see Fig. [12].
3. Install solenoid valve housing and battery box, see Figs. [13]
and [14].
Observe correct position of individual parts, see Fig. [14].
