TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM CAUSE REMEDY
e Power cord is not properly plugged into AC
wall socket.
e Power switch is not turned on.
e Turn on power switch.
è Press REJECT/OPEN key,
e Latch is not released.
e Power is not on. e Plug in power cord.
Disc does not rotate.
e Hood is not shut completely e Turn on power switch.
e Push hood and close it firmly so latch locks.

e Press the PLAY key.
e Check all connections, particularly F type
plugs.
e Both TV and player must be set to the same
channel (3 or 4) which is not used for TV
broadcasting in your area,
Picture quality is bad. | e Bad connections between player and TV set.
e Player VHF out channel is different from TV
channel.
e Adjust TV fine tuning knob for optimum pic-
ture quality.
e TV fine tuning has not been adjusted.
e Try playing a different disc. If other discs give
good quality, the problem is with that partic-
ular disc.
