(7) buttons
are
pressed at the same
time (or when the
(ING) and (BEC)
buttons are pressed
at the same time),
the
Pitch
Bend
Range of the Part
retums instantly to
the factory default
setting.
@ Use the
(Upper/<) and
(A/>_)
cursor buttons to move the cursor to the Part (Manual Bass, Lower
or Upper) whose Pitch Bend setting is to be changed.

(3) Adjust the amount of change. The range increases by a half step (semi tone) each time (INC)
is pressed
and decreases a half step each time
is pressed.

The amount of change corresponds to the following settings :
= No change
Minor second (One Half step)
Major second (Two Half steps)
Minor third (Three Half steps)
Major third (Four Half steps)
= Perfect fourth (Five Half steps)
Augmented fourth (Six Half steps)
Perfect fifth (Seven Half steps)
Augmented fifth (Eight Half steps)
Major sixth (Nine Half steps)
10 = Minor seventh (Ten Half steps)

12 = One octave (Twelve Half steps)
Repeat steps @) and (3) to set the range for each of the Parts.
@ Upon completion of the adjustments, press (EXIT) to return to the Master Screen.

A broad Pitch Bend Range can also be set to achieve a dynamic effect, but control is easier for normal

play if the range is set to a value between 1 and 3.
The factory-set range is 2 half steps (major second) for the Upper Part, and 0 for the Lower and
Manual Bass Parts. The range returns to the factory default setting each time the power is switched
ON.
