3.7 Position the solar panel so that it receives direct
sunlight. The fountain can not work if the solar
panel is shaded. Adjust the solar panel angle to
maximize the amount of solar energy collected.
Connect the pump on the panel (see item 3.6).

4. FROST

Frost can cause damage to the garden fountain and pump. If there is a risk of
frost, the garden fountain and the pump must be emptied, rinsed with clean wa-
ter and stored in a dry place. Then you will enjoy it for a very long time!

5. SERVICING

The pump should be cleaned of sediment and debris at regular intervals, depending on the de-
gree of pollution of the pond. To clean the pump impeller, remove the front plastic cover from the
pump housing (see illustration).
The solar panel should only be cleaned with a clean, soft cloth and a suitable non-aggressive
glass cleaning product.

6. SECURITY TIPS

l Obey absolutely valid regulations on the electrical security
l Never run pump dry
l Pumping inflammable, as well as all other aggressive liquids is prohibited
l Observe water temperature of max. 35°C
l The mains plug must be disconnected before carrying out any work on the solar fountain
l Never pull the pump on the electrical cable or pressure hose
l Avoid cross section narrowing
l Pay attention to the given particle size
l During longer unused times, clean the pump, wash it out with clear water, dry and store it
at room temperature
l Test wells for enough flowing water (dry run danger)
l The pump must be protected by a residual current circuit breaker with a tripping current
of 30 mA.
l The electrical connection must always be carried out by an authorized specialist.
