User’s Guide Chapter 1: CS3000 Fire alarm system 1-1 CS3000 Chapter 1: CS3000 Fire alarm system Introduction The CS3000 is a computerised, fully addressable analogue fire alarm system with analogue detectors. The detectors are automatically tested and continuously supervised by the central unit. In the event of fire the appropriate output channels are activated controlling fire-damping measures.
− Display of the status of all loop units connected to the system. − Test buzzer, LED’s, indicators and display. Control unit panel Salwico CS3000 ÇConsilium The control unit panel is designed for ease of use. Therefore the panel is divided into two halves, the fire alarm panel and the operating panel.
User’s Guide Chapter 1: CS3000 Fire alarm system 1-3 CS3000 Operating panel The Operating panel is used for controlling the system and to display additional information in case of a fire alarm. The alphanumerical display is used as a complement to the numerical display on the Fire Alarm panel, as communication medium when operating the system, and to display guiding texts for the function keys.
User’s Guide Chapter 1: CS3000 Fire alarm system 1-4 CS3000 ALARM TRANSFER Is lit when the dedicated fire output is a ctivated (steady light) and is flas hing when the door is opened, the fire output is deactivated. EXTERNAL ALAR Is lit when an external alarm output is disconnected or faulty.
