The fault (7) SEC 2 SECTION UNIT(S) MISSING on the Consilium Salwico CS3004 fire-sprinkler alarm system indicates that one or more section units in Section 2 are not communicating with the system. This may be due to a faulty section unit or a problem in the communication line. The likely remedy is to test the section and replace any faulty section unit.

If the Consilium Salwico CS3004 fire alarm station does not recognize the sensor, possible causes include:

1. Non-Addressable Sensor Without Addressing Unit – Non-addressable initiating devices (e.g., manual call points, heat detectors, smoke detectors) must have an addressing unit to provide an address. If an addressing unit is missing or malfunctioning, the sensor will not be recognized.

2. Incorrect Address Configuration – Each addressing unit should support only one device. If multiple devices share the same address or if the address is not properly set, the system may fail to recognize the sensor.

3. Faulty Connection or Wiring Issue – A loose or damaged connection between the sensor and the fire alarm panel can prevent recognition.

4. System Access Level Too Low – The system access level must be set correctly (e.g., level three) to configure or recognize sensors.

5. Sensor Not Assigned to a Section – The sensor must be assigned to a section number within the system's supported range (1-190).

6. Sensor Failure – A defective sensor may not communicate with the control panel.

Checking these factors and ensuring proper installation and configuration should help resolve the issue.
