1 - GENERAL

The language of the original operating manual is German. This
manual in any other language is a translation of the original
operating manual.
Close observation of this document is a prerequisite for the
intended use and correct operation of the product.
The operating manual corresponds to the product version and the
safety regulations and standards applicable at the time of printing.
A copy of the EC declaration of conformity is part of this operating
manual. Any modification of the machine not authorised by the 
manufacturer (CARRIER) or non-compliance with the product or
personnel safety instructions in the operating manual will invalidate
this declaration.
BEFORE INSTALLING AND COMMISSIONING THE HEAT
PUMP, READ THIS OPERATING MANUAL IN FULL.

1.1 - Information on documentation

This operating manual contains basic information that must be
observed during installation, operation and maintenance. It must
therefore be read by the installer and relevant specialist personnel/
operator prior to installation and commissioning.

1.2 - Safety regulations

Read this manual through carefully before commissioning the heat
pump or making settings!

1.3 - Qualification of personnel

The personnel designated to install, operate and maintain this
equipment must have the appropriate qualifications for such work. 
The operator must determine the relevant areas of responsibility
and ensure the supervision of personnel. If the personnel do not
have the required knowledge, they must be trained and briefed.
If required, this can be carried out by the product manufacturer
on behalf of the operator.

1.4 - Risks

Failure to observe the safety information may result in a danger
to individuals, the environment or the system. Failure to observe
the safety information results in the loss of any claims for damages.
In particular, failure to observe such information can result in the
following risks:

1.5 - Safety information for the operator

Operators may be required to use PPE (personal protective
equipment) such as: Ear protections, protective clothing (gloves,
safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.. list not exhaustive). Is therefore

prevention and any in-house occupational, operational or safety

responsible for their safety or have been comprehensively
