Damaged parts must be replaced immediately. Do not disassemble or modify the system. GE T T I NG START E D WARNING! • In a collision, an unrestrained child, even a tiny baby, can become a projectile inside the vehicle. The force required to hold even an infant on your lap could become so great that you could not hold the child, no matter how strong you are. The child and others could be severely injured or killed.

G ET T I NG S TART E D To Install A Child Seat Using An ALR: 1. Pull enough of the seat belt webbing from the retractor to pass it through the belt path of the child restraint. Do not twist the belt webbing in the belt path. 2.

GE T T I NG START E D 4. Pass the child restraint tether hook through either opening in the seatback underneath the head restraint. 5. Attach the tether hook to the anchor loop. 6. Move the seat to its farthest rearward position. Apply body pressure to the seat to be sure the seat adjusters have latched.

G ET T I NG S TART E D Installing The Top Tether Strap (With Either Lower Anchors Or Vehicle Seat Belt): • When installing a forward-facing child restraint, the top tether strap should always to be secured, up to the tether anchor weight limit, whether the child restraint is installed with the lower anchors or the vehicle seat belt.
GE T T I NG START E D FRONT SEATS Power Seats • The power seat switches are located on the outboard side of the front seat cush- ions. • The power seat switch controls forward, rearward, up and down adjustments. Push the switch forward, rearward, up or down and the seat will move in the direction of the switch.
G ET T I NG S TART E D WARNING! • Adjusting a seat while the vehicle is moving is dangerous. The sudden movement of the seat could cause you to lose control. The seat belt might not be properly adjusted, and you could be severely injured or killed.
GE T T I NG START E D ADJUSTABLE FOOT REST • The adjustable foot rest can be adjusted forward or rearward and rotated upward or downward to allow for greater driving comfort. • To adjust the pedal: 1. Adjust the seat and steering column to a comfortable position.
O P E RAT ING YOUR VE HI CL E SRT ENGINE BREAK-IN RECOMMENDATIONS • A long break-in period is not required for the drivetrain (engine, transmission, and rear axle) in your new vehicle. • Drive moderately during the first 500 miles (800 km). After the initial 60 miles (100 km), speeds up to 50 or 55 mph (80 or 90 km/h) are desirable.
O PE RAT ING YOUR VE HI CL E Washer Operation • Push the end of the lever inward to the second detent and hold for as long as spray is desired. Mist Feature • When a single wipe to clear off road mist or spray from a passing vehicle is needed, push the washer knob, located on the end of the multifunction lever, inward to the first detent and release.

O PE RAT ING YOUR VE HI CL E Electronic Stability Control (ESC) Operating Modes • The ESC system may have five available operating modes: ESC On • This is the normal operating mode for the ESC system. Whenever the vehicle is started, the ESC system will be in this mode.
O P E RAT ING YOUR VE HI CL E WARNING! The Electronic Stability Control System (ESC) cannot prevent the natural laws of physics from acting on the vehicle, nor can it increase the traction afforded by prevailing road conditions. ESC cannot prevent all accidents, including those resulting from excessive speed in turns, driving on very slippery surfaces, or hydroplaning.

It should go out with the engine running.

TPMS malfunctions may occur for a variety of reasons, including the installation of replacement or alternate tires or wheels on the vehicle that prevent the TPMS from functioning properly.

If the light is on and the parking brake is not applied, it indicates a possible brake hydraulic malfunction, brake booster problem or an Anti- Lock Brake System problem.
