Remove the smoked plastic cover and the
platen knob. The platen knob will pull straight
out. (For KX-P2624,
do not remove
the
smoked plastic cover.)

(2) Open the paper door on the front of printer.
(3)
To remove the front panel, grab the front
panel and pull the bottom, it will swing out
toward you.

Remove the three screws from the upper
cabinet.
(5) Carefully unplug the connector from the front
panel.
