Smoked plastic Cover
(1)
Remove the smoked plastic cover and the
platen knob. The platen knob will pull straight
out.
(2)
Open the paper door on the front of printer.
(3)
To remove the front panel, grab the front
panel and pull the bottom, it will swing out
toward you. .

(4)
Remove the three screws from the upper
cabinet.
(5)
Carefully unplug the connector from the front
panel.
(6) Raise the front of the upper cabinet by
releasing the two hooks located in the front.
