(11) Carefully position the serial interface board
(KX-PS13) on the two hexagonal screws and
the two standoffs as depicted in the diagram
below.

(12) Secure the serial interface board (KX-PS13)
Red screws A into the standoffs
with two red screws A and two red screws B.

Red screws B into the hexagonal screw
(13) Make sure that the DIP switch settings you
select
match
your
computer's
serial
parameters (refer to Section 5).

Replace
the upper cabinet,
front panel,
smoked plastic cover and the platen knob.
Note:
After installation, the following parts will be of no
use.
