Model GTW33 Mini Cultivator ENGINE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WARNING! CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING All gas engines produce carbon monoxide. Engine exhaust is very dangerous. Carbon monoxide is a deadly, colorless, odorless, tasteless gas which could be present even though you cannot see or smell it. -

Model GTW33 Mini Cultivator UNPACKING & ASSEMBLY Unpack your unit by carefully lifting it out of its box. Remove any packing material and cut any plastic ties that may be holding the handlebar pieces to the rest of the assembly. -

Model GTW33 Mini Cultivator OPERATING YOUR NEW UNIT PREPARING THE ENGINE FOR STARTING GAS AND OIL We recommend you use a good quality 2-cycle oil when operating the engine so that it operates smoothly throughout its life. Use only unleaded regular gasoline. -

Model GTW33 Mini Cultivator OPERATING YOUR CULTIVATOR NORMAL OPERATION • The clutch will transfer maximum power to the unit’s tines after approximately 2 hours of normal operation. During this break-in period, clutch slippage may occur. The unit’s clutch should be kept free of all oil and other moisture to ensure efficient operation. - Page 12 Model GTW33 Mini Cultivator MANUAL START / COLD ENGINE (continued from previous page) 5. Squeeze the throttle control with the right hand. Grasp the starter rope with your left hand and pull out slowly until the tension becomes slightly harder. Without letting the rope retract, pull the starter rope with a rapid, forearm stroke.

ENGINE MUST BE TURNED OFF AND ALLOWED TO COOL AND SPARK PLUG WIRE MUST BE DISCONNECTED WHENEVER WORKING ON THE UNIT FOR MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR. TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL STARTING: ENGINE MUST BE TURNED OFF AND ALLOWED TO COOL AND SPARK PLUG WIRE MUST BE DISCONNECTED BEFORE CHECKING OR ADJUSTING THE ENGINE. -
