Cleaning Inside / outside of the printer
Cleaning the Media Insertion Slot

A dust retainer (felt) has been factory added at the media insertion slot along printer
width. The prupose of this felt is to catch media fibers and dust falling down onto
media surface. Reason it's necessary to regularly (1 per month) wipe this felt retainer
using the included cleaning sheet (Ref. 5 sheets Pack : C13S400045).
1. Pull out the protective layer of the cleaning sheet.
The dark side (mark A) is the sticky surface
Do not touch the sticky surface with your fingers and don't let it stick or touch any
other surface than the printer felt.
2. Adhesive side toward you, insert about 1cm of the cleaning sheet inside the media
slot then pull it out. Repeat this operation between 2 or 3 times.
3. Repeat the above step along the full printer width, from left to right. When finished,
dispose the cleaning sheet.
