Each push of the button cycles the unit through six possible settings.

¢ The EVT-820 is designed and calibrated with
90-minute tape (Sony P6-90). To ensure stable
operation and optimum picture quality, the use of
Sony 90-minute tape is recommended.
¢ Do not use the ME tape.

On cassettes
The principle of extended recording
The extremely long recording times offered by the
EVT-820 are made possible by moving the tape only
for small incremental steps while a video picture is
recorded.
For more extended recording
Connect another EVT-820 to the SERIES REC terminals
of this unit. After the cassette of this unit ends,
recording will be continued on a cassette of another
EVT-820. (See page 11.)
