Using Your Answering System

The message counter displays the number of messages stored in memory. If the
display flashes, then there are new messages waiting for you. The flashing
number represents the number of new messages, not total messages. The cordless
phone is designed to play your new messages first. After you play all your new
messages, you can then play your old messages.
