— appears with digits to show
which frequency your scanner is cur¬
rently tuned to.
DELAY — appears when scanning
stops at a channel you have pro¬
grammed for a 2-second delay.
AM
— appears when the scanner
scans a frequency set to the AM mode
or when you change a frequency to the

NFM — appears when the scanner
scans a frequency set to the narrow-
band FM mode, or when you change a

FM mode, or when you change a fre¬
