1. Tape Counter Reset Button
Push the reset button, the counter will
show "000" automatically.
2. Tape Counter
Confirms the positions of the start and
stop of program.
3. Memory On/Off Switch
Prior to recording or playback, set the
switch to "'On'' and the counter to
"000', then the tape will stop at the
"999" when rewound.
4, Cassette Lid
Push the Stop/Eject Button, then the
lid will open,
5. Record Button
Recording will be commenced when
pushed simultaneously with the Play
Button.
6. Rewind Button
Causes tape to move rapidly from right
to left reel.
Depress the STOP button or allow
auto-stop to function.

7. Stop/Eject Button
The Stop Button shall be securely
pushed from any of the modes.
When
the button is further depressed, the
Cassette Lid will be opened and the
Cassette ejected.
8. Play Button
Tape runs at the standard speed and
when the button is depressed, playback
of the pre-recorded tapes will commence.
Also engaged in conjunction with
the Record Button
for recording.
9. Fast Forward Button
Causes tape to move rapidly from left
to right reel. When tape reaches the
end, depress the STOP button or
allow auto-stop to function.
10. Pause Button
Used to momentarily stop the tape in
recording or playback modes.
When
depressed during recording, the
recording circuits remain operative,
and capstan remains in motion but
pinch roller is retracted.

11. Bias Switch
Varies the bias for the correct level
according to the type of tape to be
used, such as Normal, EX and SX
(Refer to Page 9.)
12. EQ (Equalization) Switch
According to the tape to be used,
select one of the types of Normal, EX,
or SX (Refer to page 9.)
13. Dolby NR Switch/Test Tone
When placed in the IN position,
activates the Dolby circuits for
recording or playback.
In case of not
Dolbyized tape, place to the OUT
position for normal record and
playback.
Further, when set to TONE
position, you can obtain OdB reference
level signal.

14. Limiter Switch
When set to ON, activates only when
there comes in a sudden strong peak
input, and prevents distortion, in
Recording mode.
