Examples of the Different Character Modes
The three character modes are as follows:
NORMAL Mode
This is the standard text mode that is ideal for
the end credits of a production.
NORMAL mode
BLOCK Mode
This mode places the characters on a black
background. If you press the CHARAC.
BACKGND key you can cycle the
background from black through to white.
BLOCK mode
BLOCK mode
This mode is ideal for superimposing onto live
video to create subtitles.

OUTLINED Mode

This text mode creates an outline around the
charactors. If you press the CHARAC.
BACKGND key you can cycle the outline
from black through to white.
This mode is ideal for creating opening titles
etc.
