SELF-CLEAN CYCLE

Slide
the door
lock handle
to the lock
position., Neverforce
the handle,
If it does
not sfide easily, you may not have pulled
the handle
out from the lock cover
far
enough.

Turn the Oven Control Knob to the CLEAN
position.
If you turn the Oven Control Knob
to clean
before
locking
the
door
the Lock
Door
indicator
light will flash,
The clean
cycle
wil! last 4 hours and 20
minutes.
If you want to change the length of
clean time between
3 hours to 5 hours and 59
minutes:

While the : (colon) is flashing in the disp/ay,
press the Hour
and!or Min Up or Down
arrow pad°
When the cycle is finished, both the Oven
On and Lock
Door
indicator
lights will
flash,, Turn the Oven Control Knob to the off
position,
Slide
the lock handle
to the
unlock position.,

Turn the OVEN CONTROL
KNOB
to the
"OFF" position,

Wait until the oven has cooled
below the
locking
temperature
(approximately
45
minutes
to 1 hour) before
attempting
to
slide the lock handle
to the left into the
unlock position,
When the handle slides
easily,
unlock
the door

automatically
clean for 4 hours and 20minutes
unless you should increase
or decrease
the
cleaning
time as instructed
in No, 3 under "TO
SET A CLEAN CYCLE,"
4. Sfide the doorfock
handle to the right in the
lock position_ DO NOTforcethehandle
If
it does not slide easi!y, it may not be fully
extended.
You may also need
to lightly
press against
the door to lock it properly..
When the lock is engaged
the OVEN ON
and the LOCK DOOR Indicator
Lights wilt
glow,
5. Press the START TIME ON/OFF pad,,
6, Press the H,R UP or DOWN
arrow pad to
set the hour of the day you want the cycle
to start.
Press the MIH UP or DOWN
arrow pad to
set the time of the day
Once .you have set the delayed start, you may
press the OILOCK pad to return the display to
the time of day ctock
When the start time you
set
has
been
reached,
the
oven
wit!
automatically
start the clean
cycle
and wifl
clean for the amount of time chosen
When the clean cycle is finished,
both the
OVEN ON and the LOCK
DOOR
Indicator
Lights will blink
Turn the OVEN CONTROL
KNOB to the "OFF" position,
After the cycle .you may notice some white ash
inside the oven.
Just wipe it up with a damp
cloth., If the white spots remain,
scrub
them
with a soap-filfed
steel wool pad
Be sure to
rinse
thoroughly
with a white
vinegar
and
water mixture,,
These deposits
are usually a
salt residue
that cannot be removed
by the
clean cycle,
If the oven is not completely
cleaned
after
the cycle,
the cycle
may be
repeated.
