Connecting the Stereo
Use the illustrations below to connect your
stereo.
If you want to connect any optional
components to the stereo, see "Connecting
Optional Video Equipment" in Chapter 6
and "Connecting Optional Equipment" in
Chapter 7.

Before connecting the speakers
Twist the speaker cable coating and pull it
from the end of the cable.

Connecting the front speakers
Connect the right front speaker to the
FRONT SPEAKER R connectors and the left
front speaker to the FRONT SPEAKER L
connectors with the red cord to + and the
black cord to -.
Connect this portion
Connecting the center speaker
Connect the center speaker to the
SURROUND SPEAKER CENTER
connectors with the gray cord to + and the
gray with black stripes cord to -.
Connect this portion
Connecting the rear speakers
Connect the right rear speaker to the
SURROUND SPEAKER REAR R connectors
and the left rear speaker to the ;
SURROUND SPEAKER REAR L connectors
with the gray cord to + and the gray with
