Exposure Compensation
Automatic exposure compensation allows for correct
exposure when the subject is normally backlit.
However, if you want your picture to be generally
darker or lighter, you can manually adjust the amount
of exposure compensation.
• +1.5 exposure adjustment
This sotting will croato a
generally lighter picture. It is
effective for shooting
landscapes with a large area
ol sky, or for pictures taken at
ski resorts. It is also effective
for backlit subjects.
• -1.5 exposure adjustment
This setting will create a
generally darker picture. It is
effective for shooting a
sub|ect in a spotlight, or
positioned against a dark
background (building, etc.).
Press the exposure
compensation button until
+1.5 or -1.5 blinks.

every time you press.
