Shooting with the Best Shot Dial
To easily lake great pictures, simply turn the dial and
choose a mode suitable for the subject you are shooting.
The camera will automatically select
the appropriate settings, such as AF
and Hash (-» p. 42).
Turn the dial to select the
desired mode.

on the LCD panel.

Red-eye reduction Indicator
In Hash photography, the red-eye reduction lamp
lights up for about

second before the shutter is
released.
Flash OFF indicator
The flash will not fire.

The flash fires with a slow shutter speed.
Spot metering indicator
The camera focuses on one point in the center of the
frame.
a Continuous shooting indicator
Continuous shooting for as long as the shutter button
is pressed. (Max. 1 frame/sec.)
