Use this mode to shoot beautiful portraits.
The camera automatically zooms in on the upper half
of the subject and the flash fires to add sparkle to the
subject's eyes.

• Place the AF frame © over the subject.

* If ® is displayed on the LCD panel, the red-eye
reduction function will operate in (lash photography.
When the shutter button is pressed, the red-eye
reduction lamp lights up and the shutter will not
release for about one second. (— p. 35)
• The lens automatically zooms when you are within 1
to 3.5 m (3.3 to 11.5 ft.) of the subject. After
automatic zooming, you can readjust the zoom.
