Using the fader function
(1) When fading in [a]
In the standby mode, press FADER until the desired fader indicator flashes.
When fading out [b]
In tile t'ecot'ding mode, press FADER until tile desired fader indicator flashes.
Tile indicator changes as follows:
no.in FADER --+ M.FADER --+ STRIPE_
dicator *-- MONOTONE *-- BOUNCE* _
The last selected fader mode is indicated first of all.
(2) Press START/STOP. The fader indicator stops flashing.
After the fhde in/out is carried out, your camcorder automatically returns to
the normal mode.

To cancel the fader function
Before pressing START/STOP, press FADER until the indicator disappears.
The date, time indicator and title do not fade in or fade out
Erase them before ol)erating the fader function if they are not needed.
While using the bounce function, you cannot use the following functions:
FOCL/S
ZooI_l
Picmre effect
Note on the bounce function
The BOUNCE indicator does not appear in the f_ollowing mode or f\mctions:
D ZOOM is set to the mode other than OFF in the menu settings.
