Installation of Decorative Panel
(Type 2)
Before installing the front panel, be sure to remove
the air filter from the indoor unit.

Remove the suction panel.
• Push all of the fixing hooks fitted on the front
panel.
• Open the suction panel and push it down to
remove it completely.

Pull on the PULL handle to remove the side
covers on both sides of the front panel.
CAUTION
• Be careful not to damage the hook.

Hang the hooks from both ends of the front
panel on the body of the indoor unit.
Case1: Models with regular grille

Put the front panel's connection wires inside
the bottom of the drain pan and pull them out
towards the control box.

Use the front panel fixing bolts to affix the
panel to the indoor unit.
CAUTION
• If you do not affix all the fixing screws, the air
conditioner may operate abnormally.

Connecting the panel connector
• Models with intermediate connectors open
the connector fixing cover and connect the
air direction control/display/suction panel
connection wires to the connector. Insert the
connector into the designated area until it
makes a 'click' sound.
Being poorly fastened could cause problems
with operation.
• Air direction control connection wires and
connector - 10 pin (white)
Display connection wire and connectors - 8
pin (white)
Plasma kit connection wires - 4 pin (blue)
