You can check the selections by scanning the beginning of
each selection on the disc. You can use this function in any
play mode. While " ALL DISCS" is selected in continuous
mode, the first selection of each disc will be scanned.
Music Scan Play

1 Place a disc on the tray and close it with the
& OPEN/CLOSE button.
Press the MUSIC SCAN button.
Each selection will be played for 10 seconds and
then fade out for 2 seconds. After all selections are
played, scan play will end.

When you press the MUSIC SCAN button again
while playing the beginning of a selection, playing
will be extended for another 10 seconds up to 30
seconds.
To cancel the music scan mode and continue
playing
Press the B> button.
To stop music scan
Press the Dutton.
Note
* Programed pauses in program mode will be disregarded
during music scan play.
* If you press the kK << / PP PPI button, music scan
will be cancelled.

You can have the selections played in a random order.
The unit will play all the discs, or just one disc you desire.

1 Place a disc on the tray and close it with the
4 OPEN/CLOSE button.
Press the SHUFFLE button to choose whether
to shuffle between "ALL DISCS" (press once)
or "1 DISC" (press twice), depending on the
number of discs inserted.
"SHUFFLE* appears in the display.

Shuffle play starts.
To stop playing
Press the MH button.
To cancel shuffle play
Press the CONTINUE button and the unit enters continuous
play mode. "SHUFFLE" disappears from the display.
